Most specifically you can have the mortgage loan
under the following conditions:

Purpose of loan:
purchase, construction or improvement of property.

Loan amount:
unlimited and up to 80% of the market value of the
property

Down payment amount (purchase):
at least 20% of property market value.

Currency:
Euro, American dollar, Swiss franc or any other local
currency (under the condition that it is funded by Eurobank.

Programs:
a) Variable interest rate program based on ECB
tracker b) Variable interest rate program linked with monthly
Euribor c) Fixed interest rate program for 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25
years. Tenor of
repayment: up to
30 years.

Age:
the applicant’s age must not exceed the 75th
year at the loan’s maturity

Legal and technical evaluation
fee: 60 euros
-
Pre-notation value:
130% of the loan amount. First
class pre-notation or cash collateral or combination of the two
mentioned above.

Pre-notation fees:
0,875% of the pre-notation
value (paid to local authorities).

Obligatory fire and earthquake
insurance: 3,37
euros/1000 euros of insurance value of the property, paid yearly.
All required documents (apart from the application
form) are:

A valid passport
For employed applicants:

A copy of the most recent tax
return slip issued by the authorities of the applicants’ country of
residence

A copy of the most recent salary
slip
For self-employed applicants:

A copy of the
two (2) most recent tax return slips issued by the authorities of the
applicants’
country of residence.
The loan disbursement will take place only after all
required documentation and respective collateral have been checked and
found to be in order, following the Bank’s standard credit policy and
only after the application is approved by the Credit Committee of EFG
Eurobank Ergasias.
The whole procedure does not require your physical
presence in Greece. The only thing that you have to do is to appoint an
attorney at law that could be the same one that will represent you for
the procedure of the purchase in Greece and that will also represent you
for the whole procedure of the Mortgage Loan.
