A local construction company is building a modern complex of free standing holiday homes on the foothills of Pandokrato looking out over the sea at Barbarti towards the mountains of the Greek mainland. The views are excellent and there are many facilities close by such as shops, supermarkets, pharmacies, horse riding, mountain biking, all the water sports, paintball etc. The beach of Barbarti (one of the cleanest on Corfu) is no more than 200 meters from the most distant house and in some cases this is down to 100 meters. There is bus transport on a regular basis in the summer into Corfu town which is about 18 kilometers away.

There are numerous construction options available ranging from a simple single level one bedroom apartment with no garden which can be made into a two bedroom unit to a free standing detached house on three levels with a garden and swimming pool. The constructor estimates that the entire complex will be completed about the end of 2009.
