Agios Ioannis: This popular village is situated in the centre of the island 9 kilometers west of Corfu town on the main road towards Glyfatha and the west coast.   1. If the land m2 are close to the minimum required (for example the land is 2100 m2 and 2000 m2 is required) it is advisable to have a second and independent land survey carried out.
  2. Check the m2 that are legally permitted to be built on the land.
  3. Always make sure (through your lawyer) that the land is not registered as “forest” in which case building is not permitted.
